Abstract

Students' ecological intelligence is very important as a way to foster feelings of love for the environment in students. The aims of this study were 1) to determine the effectiveness of the application of local wisdom-based problem-solving learning models in West Lombok Regency in increasing the ecological intelligence of 1-page public high school students, and 2) to determine the effect of local wisdom-based problem-solving learning models in West Lombok Regency on intelligence student ecology. The type of research used is a type of pre-experimental research with a one group pretest posttest research design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling so that in this study a sample of class X MIPA 3 and 4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Sheet was used as a sample. Data analysis techniques in this study used LKS validation with three expert validators, N-Gain test, prerequisite test, namely normality and homogeneity tests, and paired sample T-test. The results of the data analysis test in this study showed that the results of LKS validation based on local wisdom in West Lombok Regency obtained results of 3.3 and 3.6 with valid and very valid categories. The effectiveness of the application of local wisdom-based problemsolving learning models in West Lombok Regency to improve the ecological intelligence of students in class X MIPA 3 obtained N-Gain results of 0.44 and in class X MIPA 4 obtained results of 0.54 both of which were included in the medium category. The results of the t-test to determine the effect of the local wisdom-based problem solving learning model in West Lombok Regency on students' ecological intelligence obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 so that you can see a real difference between the results of biology on the results of the pre-test and post-test. Based on the results of data analysis it was concluded that 1) The effectiveness of the application of problem solving learning models based on local wisdom in Lombok Regency in increasing the ecological intelligence of class X MIPA 3 and 4 SMA Negeri 1 Sheet is included in the medium category and 2) There is an influence of problem solving based learning models local wisdom in West Lombok Regency on the ecological intelligence of class X MIPA 3 and class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lembar seen from the increased student learning outcomes.
