Abstract

Learning is a process in which the environment is managed to allow students to participate in certain behaviors under special conditions to produce responses to certain situations. Education carried out in schools as formal educational institutions is carried out in the form of learning activities. The purpose of this study was to describe the perceptions of 12th grade students at SMAN 7 Mataram towards online biology learning. This is a descriptive qualitative research by using an inductive methods. The sample of this research was 50 of 12th grade students in SMAN 7 Mataram. The instrument of this research is a questionnaire to obtain data. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The data validity technique is carried out by data triangulation technique. The results of the study of the perceptions of 12th grade students at SMAN 7 Mataram towards online biology learning shows that 80% of students feel they do not agree in online learning and 20% of students agree in online learning. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that students' interest in learning biology online has a less attractive category in general.
