Abstract

This research is part of preliminary research which aims to explore students' self-regulation potential. Self-regulation is an essential factor in achieving learning goals, even though students have a good level of intelligence, without being supported by good self-regulation skills, it will be difficult for students to achieve optimal performance. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument, the data was then analyzed quantitatively descriptively. Respondents totaled 259 students from 5 public high schools in Central Lombok district. The research results show that the self-regulation of public high school students in Central Lombok district is in the quite good category with an average percentage of 73. These findings will then become a reference for researchers to conduct further research.
